I am always scouring the internet for ways to tweek what I am doing in my classroom. I am a very visual person. Pinterest has changed the way I use the net. I love SEEING the ideas! I thought I would take a picture of the ways I do things in my room to share with you today. ![IMG_0326[1]](http://www.madamekenny.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/IMG_03261-300x224.jpg)
Creating flexible reading groups is nothing new. Most teachers create flexible groups in order to reach all the students in their room.
Here is a picture of how I display this in my room. The stars with the numbers represent students. They are simply attached with a bit of sticky tack. I can easily move students from group to group. I have a quick visual of where students are suppose to be as well as students know exactly what they are supposed to be doing. The center piece is also interchangable. I plan on “prettying up” soon, but for now its functional 🙂
I would love to see how you display your reading groups! Like I said I am always looking for ways to improve and tweek my teaching!
