Technology problem turned into a French musical

If you know me...you know I love to sing !!! It was so adorable today...Right in the middle of a lesson I hit the frozen tech wall!!! ...ARG! Not bad for being in French Immersion for only 7 days

Another year of  teaching french immersion has begun and I couldn't be more excited. Today the students completed their first published piece of writing and how fun was that! On top of completing their first work they actually got displayed in the cafeteria. This was such an honor!  Our principal also gave a shout out on our morning news...a big  Thank You to the principal for acknowledging our beautiful work! It is always a show in Madame Kenny’s Class

So I continued to look at other songs by Alain le lait... We did assis debout today. I have visions of dance moves that we could do.... It is always a show in Mme Kenny's room! I think I might get the kids to perform it at the next assembly. I don't think I can post the video due to the legality of being able to identify the kids, but I will look into it! Learning math with music

I am always amazed at how fast kids pick up French when you incorporate music. I love to teach the rote part of numbers with songs. My goto song has always been 21 Amis by Jacquot...but I also found this amazingly adorable new video. And the kids LOVE it. They've named the little Rastafarian Frisé... About Me

Hi and welcome to my site. Since I began my teaching journey way back in 1994, I have taught grades 1 through 9 in both French and English. After having taught elementary for the past 8 years I have now moved back into middle school to teach Science and Math and I'm loving it.

I am the mother of 4 amazing children ranging from the ages of 21 to 13 and have a wonderful husband who was and still is my high school ♥♥♥sweetheart ♥♥♥
