Teachers Pay Teachers Networking Group…Waste Of Time Or Keys To Success

Teachers Pay Teachers Networking Group

I'm super excited to be sharing this with you today...This is my first TPT giveaway in this new Teachers Pay Teachers Networking Group I'm a part of! I'm always overwhelmed by the collegiate and cooperative nature of all teacher-authors on Teachers Pay Teachers. It's about helping people...not beating people. We're all in this together rather then competing. I've recently come to the realization that to succeed as a Teachers Pay Teachers author...you simply can't do it alone. Hence the need to ... continue reading...

How Teachers Pay Teachers Made Me A Better Teacher?

I'm super excited to be taking part in the The One Thing a Day - Big, Ginger, Seller 30 Day Challenge, being put on by Ginger Teacher.  Today, as my one thing a day, I've decided to share my story about how and why I became a teacher -author with Teachers Pay Teachers. It all started a few years ago...4 years ago to be exact, when my husband told me about this video segment he'd seen on CNN that morning about this teacher from Georgia who'd made a million dollars by selling ... continue reading...

In teaching students about the development of the brain, students are able to ... continue reading...

Using Timelines in Science

Hey teacher friends... I am writing this blog post as a result of a recent request submitted on my Facebook Fanpage. A special shoutout to Kimberly for the idea. I posted a few pictures from a science lesson I had my kiddos create from a product I purchased on TPT on my Facebook Fanpage and a follower had suggested I make a blog post explaining what I had done...so taha! Here it is... I am currently (no pun intended) working on the Electricity unit with both my grade 6 French Immersion ... continue reading...

Kindness, Fish Philosophy and Growth Mindset…This Weeks One Little Thing

Today I’m super excited to be linking up with Enchanted Elementary to share this week’s "One Little Thing". This week Laura's "One Little Thing" was Kindness. I’d first like to start off by saying that I don’t have a mean class...I remember a class when I first began teaching that would definitely slide right into this category, but that’s a story for another blog post on another day! But getting back to this year's class... Occasionally, like in any classroom, they do have to be reminded ... continue reading...
